What is Order of Operations?
When you see an equation that looks like this:

- Will you begin at the beginning of the equation or a the end?
- Does it matter where you begin the problem from?
P.E.M.D.A.S. tells you where to begin solving your equation and each subsequent step thereafter. Some people like the acronym B.E.M.D.A.S. (Brackets, exponents, multiplication, division, additions, subtraction).
